When should you watch ‘Dear Santa’ on Paramount Plus?
Bobby and Peter Farrelly return with a sleigh of Christmas madness with Paramount Plus’s first-ever original Christmas movie, Dear Santa. Get ready, because this is no ordinary Saint Nick movie.
Dear Santa spins the Christmas movie trope about a child sending a Christmas wish list to Santa. Thanks to a bout of dyslexia, young Liam (Robert Timothy Smith) accidentally sent his letter to Asmodeus (aka Satan), played by Jack Black. All kinds of chaos ensues when the Devil offers to grant three wishes before taking the boy’s soul. Talking about Christmas spirit!
It’s been ten years since Dumb and Dumber To hit theaters, which marked the last time the Farrelly Brothers collaborated on a comedy. Considering how wild their previous films have been, something tells me this one will cause a lot of knee-jerks.
In addition to Black and Smith, the film stars Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, Post Malone, PJ Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker and Kai Cech. Dear Santa will be featured in Paramount Plus’ annual Season For Streaming holiday collection and will be available for purchase digitally the same day.
