Fans rushed to the website to buy her Maebe brand – and everything was gone in just ten minutes, except for the plain white T-shirt which sold out fourteen minutes later.

And those who missed the first clothing run will now have to wait two weeks for the items to be restocked.

Stunned, Molly expressed her gratitude, telling fans: “I’m speechless. The entire site SOLD OUT within 24 minutes. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

But if you’re desperate for the now sold-out “contour popper top”, which retails for a whopping £50, don’t worry, because Shein (yes, you heard right) has an alternative option: much cheaper.

According to Maebe, who seeks to make elevated style an accessible luxury for a new generation, the off-white contour popper top is an ode to everyday, high-end leisure.

It is made from a buttery soft, heavy, knitted stretch jersey that shapes your body while providing support and a smoothing effect.

But thanks to Shein’s MUSERA Button-Front Asymmetrical Sleeveless Knit Top from Shein, you get the Molly-Mae look, but for less.

The button-up top is strikingly similar to Maebe’s offering, but is much more affordable at just £7.99.

Sure, there’s probably a big difference in the quality of the top, but if you’re on a budget and looking for an affordable option that won’t break the bank, then this is perfect for you.

The top is available in four different colors – white, black, red and brown – and sizes range from XS to L.

So if the thought of spending £50 on a top sends shivers down your spine, you’ll be happy to know that this similar purchase will save you a whopping £42.01.

Mega price shock

Despite the popularity of the highly anticipated fashion brand, many shoppers were baffled by the prices.

The 25-year-old influencer has been criticized for “not knowing her audience” after revealing how much she charges for a basic T-shirt, jeans and blazers.

Many criticized the “outrageous” prices – which range between £35 and £140 – and wondered why the range is “so expensive”.

“Why does Molly-Mae’s new range have to be so expensive?” moaned one shopper on X, formerly Twitter.

What are the Maebe prices?

  • Outing top – £55
  • Challenge Trousers – £60
  • Fully Tied Up Shirt – £65
  • Contour popper top – £50
  • Denim jeans with seam – £90
  • Dreamer Pointelle T-shirt – £35
  • The Ultimate Blazer – £140
  • Cozy cropped cardigan – £60

“Molly-Mae charging an arm and a leg for basic clothing is outrageous,” said another.

While someone else interjected: “Does she realize that many of her followers are young girls, college students or adults with mortgages to pay?”

Three years in the making

The mother-of-one said Maebe was “three years in the making.”
