Which split? The Block’s Kylie and Brad drink their sorrows away at the Melbourne Cup – after fleeing Channel Nine’s reno show following cheating scandal and epic dummy spit
The Block’s Kylie and Brad Baker have made their first public appearance since their dramatic departure from the hit Channel Nine show.
The pair were spotted at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, enjoying a drink and a few laughs.
Kylie looked glamorous in an emerald green one-shoulder dress that hugged her figure, with elegant ruffles down the sides for a flattering finish.
The controversial reality contestant ditched her green locks in favor of a blonde hairdo that was styled straight and sleek for the event that is holding the nation back.
She completed her look with a striking black fascinator and statement earrings.
Kylie seemed to have time to laugh as she mingled with racegoers and sipped a glass of champagne.
At one point she even stopped to take a picture with an admirer.
Elsewhere, husband Brad looked sharp in a beige suit paired with a black shirt and matching tie.

Despite the couple’s “flirtgate” scandal on The Block, they seemed very much together during the event.
Their public outing comes amid the fallout from The Block’s ‘flirt-gate’ scandal, where Brad’s cheeky comment to fellow contestant Mimi Belperio about following her hypothetical OnlyFans account sparked tensions with Kylie.
In a shocking turn of events during Sunday night’s episode, Kylie stormed off the set, visibly upset and declared she was ‘done’ with the show.
According to an insider, Kylie and Brad’s departure left House Four unfinished, with much of the remaining work being completed by their builders.
This has fueled resentment among other participants, who argue that the couple should not benefit financially if their property sells above the guide price at auction.

Brad, meanwhile, kept it classic yet edgy in a beige suit jacket, black shirt and matching trousers, complete with aviator sunglasses
“There was a lot more to be completed by Channel Nine after the couple left the show,” an anonymous participant revealed.
‘House Four was the least completed property and other builders had to step in and make the final decisions. It seems unreasonable to not finish your house and still qualify for the same percentages.”
Despite the backlash, a clause in the contracts of participants Kylie and Brad could make a profit at the upcoming auction.
As the other teams celebrated ‘tools down’ with host Scott Cam, Kylie was noticeably absent as Brad left to give her final command to the tradies to ‘cut it out’ and ‘go away’ during their final hours of work.
In an emotional confession, Kylie revealed that she initially joined The Block in the hope of financial relief, contrasting her own pay-to-pay lifestyle with her husband’s successful business.
“We’re always working and we’re always parents,” she admitted. “I thought we were going to get a little vacation here.”
With auction day just around the corner, Kylie and Brad’s appearance in the Melbourne Cup could be their attempt to present a united front, but whether their gamble on The Block will pay off remains to be seen.
