  • The wanted terrorist, 38, was the wife of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay
  • Spent seven years with most recent lover Sheikh Hassan before fleeing to Yemen

The British-born terrorist blamed for the deaths of hundreds of people has separated from her last partner and fled to Yemen, security sources said.

Mother of four Samantha Lewthwaite, originally from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, is one of the world’s most wanted women.

The 38-year-old jihadist, who was married to one of the 7/7 suicide bombers, fled the UK to South Africa in 2009, later crossed Tanzania in 2011, then Kenya, before investigators followed her to an al-Shabaab stronghold in Somalia.

Her nickname among intelligence agencies is ‘White Widow’, and she has been linked to a series of terror attacks in Africa that have killed more than 400 people.

Most recently, she spent seven years with her fourth husband, a Somali warlord known as “Sheikh Hassan,” before separating from him and fleeing to Yemen, The Mirror reports.

Security sources say Lewthwaite, who was the daughter of a British soldier during the troubles in Northern Ireland, fled a no-go area in Somalia after their breakup.

She is now said to live in a jihadist stronghold in neighboring Yemen, where she wears a full niqab and gloves to hide her identity.

A security source told the Mirror: “[Lewthwaite] and Sheikh Hassan are no longer together – they are believed to be divorced. She had protection from his family in a no-go area in Somalia.

“But now she’s not welcome and she’s gone back to Al-Qaeda-controlled Yemen. She arrived there in a dhow sailing ship.

While no information has been received on the exact location of British mother Lewthwaite for months, security sources now believe she became entangled in the deadly chaos of Yemen’s long-running civil war between government forces and Islamists.

Originally from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Lewthwaite was the wife of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay and is believed to be behind numerous suicide bombings in Africa and the Middle East.

Interpol issued a Red Notice warrant for her arrest after she was linked to the 2013 Westgate Mall attack in Kenya, which killed five Britons and 66 other people and injured about 200 others.

Security forces believe her other atrocities include the 2015 massacre of 148 people by gunmen at a university.

In Yemen, she is said to have recruited female suicide bombers with bribes of £3,000. She is also believed to have killed male suicide bombers as young as 15 years old with heroin.

A graduate of London University, Lewthwaite reportedly changed her appearance through plastic surgery and gained weight in an attempt to go unrecognized.

She has promised to raise all four children, who have three different fathers, as jihadists.

As a teenager, she was seduced by the teachings of extremist cleric Trevor Forrest, or Sheikh Abdullah el-Faisal, through whom she met Lindsay, who committed suicide in 2005, and 26 others.
