“We really wanted to move to the countryside for a quieter life, a bit more privacy,” Sue said.

“When it failed, it was really terrible, but sometimes you think that these kinds of things happen for a reason and that it just wasn’t meant to be.

“It was upsetting when it happened. The move was an emotional event.”

Sue, mother of 22, and her husband Noel planned to keep their current home for five of their older children, while moving into the new house with the youngest children.

“I’m glad we’re not doing that now.

“So many memories have been made in this house.

“It would have been a shame to leave it behind.”
