I am the mother of a 16 year old boy and for my part I cannot understand why so many parents are furious with Bonnie Blue.

Put down your pitchforks, I say. This may sound controversial, but I would rather have my teenager lose his virginity to a professional like Bonnie than at a drunken party.

This is why.

I talked to my son about sex – yes, it was a little awkward for both of us – and I was shocked at how unprepared he was. He even told me that he planned to use the pull-out method when he loses his virginity.

Fortunately, we have the kind of relationship where I was able to explain to him why that wasn’t an adequate form of birth control. No one wants their son to have a baby after a one night stand, I told him. Or their daughter, for that matter.

I educated him about condoms, consent, and STDs — and while I hope he listened, I also know he’s at the age where he’s more likely to heed the advice of his friends or TikTok than his mother..

The young men in Bonnie’s videos all must give verbal consent, they can withdraw at any time, and they cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The fact that the action is filmed actually makes it safer: everyone is responsible and no one can get away with something dodgy.

To me, that’s much safer than being insanely drunk in a bar or at a party where you might not even remember who was involved, let alone whether you were wearing a condom..

I know how it goes: I lost my virginity at the age of 14. Alcohol was involved and it was not an experience I enjoyed. I certainly haven’t rushed to repeat it for quite some time.

I have yet to see a single young man who slept with Bonnie during Schoolies, Freshers’ Week or Spring Break come out of the woodwork to say they were being exploited or had a bad time.

Yes, at 25 she may be a little older than her, but when I was 20 I had a boyfriend who was 40 and no one called him a predator, so I don’t understand the outrage.

Despite all the gems in the headlines, I really don’t think she’s doing anything wrong. She is a woman who feels comfortable in her sexuality and she shows it.

Yes, she’s making money from it, but what her critics need to remember is that by trying to take her down they’re only making her even richer.

Before I’m accused of something terrible, let me make this clear. I’m not telling my son to join the five-hour conga line of young men waiting to sleep with Bonnie in one of her OnlyFans videos.

First of all, he’s 16 years old, which, despite the legal age of consent, makes him two years too young to have anything to do with Bonnie’s antics on camera.

But if he were to show interest at 18, I would make it very clear to him that he should not allow his face to be shown on camera – not at all.. That’s my only rule.
