Why Imperial Leather soap bars have a sticker – it has a VERY practical use
A bar of soap is a must-have in the bathroom, but have you ever thought about why some brands have a little sticker?
If you prefer to use Imperial Leather soap, you’ve probably noticed that the bars all come with a distinctive red and gold sticker, which remains intact almost to the end of the bar itself.
What you might not know, however, is that the sticker has an actual purpose and not just for decoration and brand identity – and it’s quite practical too.

Another wondered: “How does the sticker stay on Imperial Leather soap bars until the end?”
Someone else interjected, explaining, “I believe you should have it in your soap dish/on the sink with the label side down.
“Prevents soap from getting a ‘soggy bottom’.”
This has now been confirmed by the brand itself after they made a statement the MailOnline where Imperial Leather clarified that the ”sticker on the top is for long lasting bar and prevention of mushiness”.
A spokesperson told the publication: “When the soap is used, the sticker will hollow out and hold the top surface where the sticker sits.
”After use, the soap should be upside down.
“The concave surface ensures that water runs out of the bar and minimizes the contact surface on a soap dish.”

Speaking of more facts that people have only just discovered, it turns out we’ve been pronouncing Shein all wrong – and it’s baffling everyone.
The China-based brand is the largest fast fashion retailer in the world, adding thousands of new items to its ever-expanding site every week, but many fans aren’t sure how to pronounce it correctly.
Many fashionistas call the brand ‘sheen’, but according to one TikToker this is not the right way.
Style lover Kinly (@kinlymac) explained that the brand is actually pronounced She-In, as it was originally called SheInside.
More things people are only now realizing…
“Stop saying Sheen, it’s pronounced She-In, short for SheInside,” she said.
The fashion fan then used Google to prove the brand’s original name, and how it should be pronounced.
“Look, see the capital I,” she said, pointing to a web page that confirmed the brand was called SheInside until 2015.
“In is pronounced ‘in’ and not ‘an,'” Kinley said.
However, it’s worth noting that the name on the brand’s website is generally spelled in capital letters, making the pronunciation less obvious.
