The home accessories fans, known only as @lifeoncapri on TikTok, have dedicated their colorful platform to their home, which they moved into a little over two years ago.

Since then, the couple, who also took some of the interior items from thrift stores, have been busy renovating the house, which they say was “the worst” house on the street.

But it’s not just the old building that has gone under the knife and now has a beautiful baby pink exterior: the courtyard also looks nothing like it used to.

Before the stunning transformation, the outdoor space looked neglected, and the couple gave it a big ‘0’.

There was some green, but the garden lacked colour. The old, white walls were covered in green algae and the tiles were covered in stubborn moss.

With a little effort, the couple, who are often told to ‘stop spending money on decorating their home’, managed to completely revamp the drab space.

The DIYers not only painted the old bricks a bright pink color, but also added more beautiful plants, colored the dusty door turquoise and placed beautiful furniture outside.

One of the corners they proudly showed in the videonow also had a beautiful woven rug, and comfy cushions to chill on during the warmer days – a nice addition that people thought looked like a ”Moroccan paradise”.

To add even more character to the Barbie-approved makeover, the couple also attached beautiful round plates in different sizes to one of the pink walls, each with a different colored pattern.

Another part of the once neglected courtyard was also the perfect place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee – or a few drinks with your friends.

From shed to stylish tiny home: Coralie Dee’s unique transformation

“From nothing to Prada,” the duo laughed in the caption, as viewers flocked to praise their work.

The metamorphosis has indeed been well received, as several people asked if they could enjoy a cocktail in their ‘fantastic’ riad.

“If I was invited to visit, I would never leave,” someone joked.

Another was equally amazed at the huge difference, writing: ”You turned it from a sad garden into a Moroccan paradise 💓 so beautiful.”

“I am so obsessed with every aspect of your home, everything is so unique and vibrant,” added a third.

How to paint brick

Giving your home a facelift can be as simple as painting the existing bricks. Here are some preparations you need to make.

Before painting

New masonry with cement mortar must harden for at least 28 days before it can be painted, experts from Dulux.

Check for defects

Check your masonry for any defects. A build-up of white crystal salts on the surface is called efflorescence and must be removed before painting.

Check for water damage

Any leaks, rising damp or excess moisture should be dealt with before painting.

Insure surface

Make sure the surface is free of loose sand or cement. Fill holes with grout cement.

To delete

Rinse with water and use a stiff brush to remove any loose particles.

Use masking tape

Use good quality masking tape along edges you don’t want to paint, such as baseboards and windows.

“This is my dream garden! I need to remember all these colors,” someone else felt inspired after watching the clip.

The couple, who also own a poodle, have done a lot of renovations since moving to their new home, including repairing the ‘rotten’ ceiling.

Not only did they paint the hallway ocean blue, but they also gave the main entrance a makeover with a bit of lilac paint, and now they feel that this house is “the best” on the street.
