The Wnba has started a racism examination a day after Angel Reese had come into a fight Caitlin Clark During the opening weekend match between the fever and the air.
The competition announced the investigation on Sunday with his statement that points to the Indiana-Chicago match, where the incident took place.
The racist incident in question was directly related to Reese, but had nothing to do with Clark’s hard mistake on Reese and the reacting heated matter, according to the Indianapolis star.
Instead, they were fever fans in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse -who are the target of the competition in the investigation.
‘The following is a statement from the Wnba with regard to alleged hateful fan comments in Chicago Sky yesterday Indiana Fever game: “The WNBA strongly condemns racism, hatred and discrimination in all forms – they have no place in our competition or in society. We are aware of the allegations and investigate the matter,” said the competition.
The fever published a corresponding statement after the message from the Wnba had gone public.
