A South African woman who was abducted, withdrawn, raped and almost beheaded has written a book about her horrible test.
Alison Botha was only 27 when she was subjected to a pathogenic attack so that she had to hold her intestines while her partly decapitated head ‘flopped backwards and almost rested in between [her] Shoulder blades. ‘
She worked as an insurance broker when she drove home to her apartment in Port Elizabeth on December 18, 1994, after one evening with friends.
Alison had just parked her car and reached for the passenger chair to get her wax when the nightmare started.
She remembered how a blonde man pushed his way into her vehicle and left her frozen with fear.
Frans Du Toet, the son of a police officer, threatened to kill her, and stated that he meant no harm, but had to use the car for an hour.
In a desperate attempt to build a report with her abductor, Alison offered him the vehicle.
But he insisted that he ‘wanted company’, according to Morbid, a real crime podcast, referring to her book I have Life: Alison’s Journey.

After traveling a distance from the city, Du Toet passed a crowd twice on the street, scanning his eyes on one person – Theuns Kruger.
The short man, who was completely dressed in black, approached the driver’s side and climbed in the car.
Du Toet, who had imagined under the false name ‘Clinton’, adjusted the driver’s seat forward when Kruger came in and Alison (who also used a pseudonym) introduced as his friend Susan.
The journey to a suburb outside Port Elizabeth was creepy quiet until the deafening silence was broken by Du Tit and stated that “Theuns don’t speak good English.”
Du Toet approached a wooded area, delayed and parked on the sand.
Kruger left the car and ‘Clinton’ went raping Alison.
Kruger also started attacking her, but stopped abruptly and exclaimed: “No, I can’t do this” unintentionally called “French” for his complicit. Alison committed this name to the memory.
Frans then warned Alison: “If we take you to the city, you now go to the police.”
Du Toot then asked a frightening question and said, “What do you think Uncle Nick would want us to do with her.”
Uncle Nick is an African reference to Satan.
Kruger replied, “I think he wants us to kill her.”

The malignant duo forced Alison to remove her rings and clothing before Du Tit strangled her until she fainted.
Alison remembered that Du Toet apologized in the moments before she lost consciousness.
She was then awake by waste before she saw the arm of a man cut in front of her eyes and came to the terrifying realization that he cut her throat.
Alison described the horrible moment that she could ‘hear the meat glit’ in her book.
It was later established that the men cut her throat 16 times and Alison was almost beheaded.
The attack then stopped abruptly and Alison managed to turn on her front.
She remembered: “I tried to keep my breath in, but I realized that I had no control over my breathing – I moved my hand up to cover my neck – my whole hand disappeared in it, but it seemed to have worked – the sound was silenced.”
Pretending he was dead, she heard one attacker ask if she had died with the other who replied: “Nobody can survive that.”
Alison heard that her attackers would be confronted with justice, Alison scribbled the names of her attackers in the sand and added that ‘I love mom’.
She then saw some lights and realized that she was closer to the road than she initially thought.
Alison succeeded in gathering enough power to push herself on her knees before she touched her belly and felt something lukewarm, wet and slimy ‘.
She looked down and was confronted with the disturbing view of her intestines hanging around on a gaping wound.
Alison added: ‘My head was flopped backwards and was almost reassured between my shoulder blades. I expected to feel something, but was completely surprised when my hand disappeared into me, almost as if I had swallowed myself. ‘
With one hand held her head stable and the other on her abdominal wound she succeeded in reaching the center of the road, where she was horizontal to force drivers.
Although he swung help desperately, the first car waved to avoid her.
But in the end a woman and a young man came to the rescue.
It was 2.45 by the time she was found – which means that the time period between her kidnapping and her discovery had only lasted an hour and a half.
It was Tian Eilerd, a vet, who met Alison that evening.
Tiaan was shocked that Alison was still alive and described her as a ‘creature directly from a Dickens novel’ with her neck split open ‘almost ear to ear’.
Alison’s intestines were stabbed several times and her abdominal muscles were badly damaged.
She later revealed that one of the men told her that they deliberately tried to mutilate her reproductive organs.
However, she had two children in a wonderful way.
After hours of operation, Alison was transferred to the ICU.
While the news about her attack spread, the police discovered that the couple were already on bail for rape.
Both men claimed to be satanists and argue guilty of kidnapping, rape and attempted murder.
Du Toet had raped another woman, but said that the “urge to kill her had passed” after he had raped her.
Both men were sentenced to life without the possibility of conditional release in 1995.
When there was a chance that the law could change in 2012, Alison said: “You can imagine that only 100 lifers would be re -introduced into society without rehabilitation.”
Her campaign efforts were helpful to ensure that such prisoners stayed behind bars.
But on July 4, 2023, Du Toet and Kruger, who had only served for 28 years of their life imprisonment, received conditional release without anyone informing Alison.
On her Facebook page Alison expressed her shock: ‘The day I hoped and Bad would never come. When I was asked, “How do you feel if they ever get conditional release?” – My direct answer was always – “I hope I will never discover it.” ‘
Alison bravely told her book I Have Life and the 2016 Alison Alison documentary and remarkable survival.
She has also spoken with hundreds of people tirelessly, inspiring others by sharing how attitude, faith and choice have helped her survive.
Recognized for her incredible courage, Alison got the prestigious Rotary Paul Harris Award for courage outside the norm.
In the same year she was the first recipient of Femina Magazine’s Woman of Courage Award and was chosen as Port Elizabeth’s Citizen of the Year.
At the release of the film, Alison said: ‘I always hoped to share my own journey with others, it would give them hope and courage for themselves.
‘To have my story and the ultimate triumph on the screen would mean that so many more people would see the power of choice we all have; And would also choose to prevail about the hardships of life ‘.
