Woman with bald spots reveals 4-ingredient DIY oil that thickens her hair
A TRAINING trichologist has revealed she was desperate for a solution to stop her hair falling out in clumps.
Hasini Kay explained that her situation became so bad that she developed bald spots on her head.
But after trying and testing a number of different solutions, Hasini revealed that she had finally found the perfect solution to prevent her hair from falling out and grow it back.
She shared a video on TikTokand since then it has received over 30,000 likes and over 840,000 views.
Hasini explained that she was afraid to even “touch” her hair because it was “falling out in clumps” and she called her mother “crying about it.”
She also explained that she could never part her hair due to its thin appearance.
This made her come up with a hair growth oil recipe, and after using it for a while, Hasini managed to transform her hair.
The oil consists of a concentrated blend of natural vegetable oils that deeply hydrate and nourish the hair.
She added olive and castor oils to “penetrate deep into the hair,” as well as jojoba and almond oils to “form a protective layer.”
Speaking of the product, she wrote: “Developed from centuries of South Asian hair oil traditions, this recipe helps heal damage and conditions hair to revitalize and repair your locks.”
In the video, she also said, “I started working on a hair growth oil recipe and after using it for a while, my hair now looks like this and I’m crying tears of joy.
“So every week I apply two full pipettes of my growth oil to my scalp and massage it in for a few minutes for better hair growth.”
The before and after shots show a clear difference between the condition of her hair.
Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One asked: “How long did it take you to get to this stage?”
To which Hasini replied, “It took me a few months to see the biggest change and after that I had steady growth!”
Another asked: “How many times a week do you use the growth oil? Is there too much or too little?”
Hasini responded with: “Don’t forget to wash it out with shampoo.”
A third also wondered: “Is rosemary water good?”
And Hasini replied: “Good, but rosemary oil is better!”
Hair loss 101
HER pro Samantha Cusick has revealed everything you need to know about hair loss.
Why does hair loss happen?
Hair loss can be affected by so many factors, from genetics and hormone changes to lifestyle choices.
Stress, diet and even hair care habits can all affect hair strength.
It’s completely normal to lose some hair every day, but sometimes the body can lose more hair than normal in response to things like hormonal shifts or even life stressors.
Why it happens more often this time of year
Have you ever noticed that your hair seems to fall out more in the fall? That’s a season’s loss!
During summer, we retain extra hair to protect our scalp from the sun.
As the weather cools, it’s as if our bodies are recalibrating and letting go of those extra strands.
Dry, cooler air can also make hair more brittle, making it easier to lose some extra volume during these months.
Hacks and Affordable Buys to Treat Hair Loss
The great news? You don’t have to spend a fortune on expensive treatments to support your hair.
Try daily scalp massages. They are so simple, but really help stimulate blood flow to the follicles.
Castor oil is another fantastic, budget-friendly option that is rich in nutrients to strengthen your strands.
Adding some more protein to your diet and a biotin supplement can also do wonders for overall hair health.
Products to avoid
Stay away from products with high alcohol, sulfates and parabens; these can dry out and damage the hair over time.
Heat styling and chemical treatments can also cause breakage, so try to use them sparingly.
Instead, look for gentle, moisturizing formulas to support your scalp and keep hair healthier throughout the seasons.
