Woolworths Customer Films unbearable collapse after she is stopped leaving the supermarket with ‘free fruit’ – while the staff are trying to explain why it is not allowed

A Woolworths Shopper filmed the moment she had a collapse after she was stopped leaving a supermarket with free fruit because it was meant for children.

An employee stopped the customer when she left the store in Dandenong, Southeast MelbourneAfter she noticed that she had not paid for bananas and apples.

In a video Tap On Monday the customer told the female employee that she took a banana and apple because she had a hard time and had no food at home.

“Everything I wanted is this free f *** ING banana that you give to children,” the woman shouted.

‘Why would you take the free food from me if you know it is difficult? It is finished *** ING free banana, what are you doing. I don’t have any food at home. ‘

The Woolworths worker quietly explained that the free fruit was reserved for children and because she was an adult, she would have to pay for the items.

The interaction escalated and the customer, who is refugee from Russia, accused the employee of telling her to ‘go back to your home country’.

“It is embarrassing that you told me to go back to my home country,” the customer said.

“You know what you are trying to do, you try to become a victim and you are not a victim,” the employee said.

The employee added that she should call the police if the woman did not leave the store.

“I tried to help you, but if you cry and scream so and you have been abusing my team for a long time, it is an hour ago,” the employee said.

“I’m not leaving. Call the police, “the customer replied.

‘It’s easier to call the police than apologizing for what you said. I didn’t stole things, it was free. I don’t go away until I get my apology. ‘

Security intervened and the customer asked what had happened if she had asked the staff if she could take a free banana and Apple.

The customer claimed that the staff who packaged the fruit and vegetables said it was good that she took a piece of fruit as long as she told the service personnel that she had a hard time.

The Woolworths employee, however, claimed that the customer had more than one piece of fruit in her shopping cart and that is why she was stopped on her way out.

The customer said, “So you never said what you said?” To which the staff member gave and answered, “Okay, sorry love for that.”

“I am so happy that I received an apology from her, because they only say that to someone because they wanted a free fruit from the child section, is not OK,” the customer has raised the video.

Social media users did not agree with the customer, with many who point out that the free fruit was clearly marked for children.
