World’s best airline Qatar Airways announces huge sale for Australians

Qatar Airways has launched a major sales promotion to celebrate its 15th anniversary in Australia.

The airline has cut flight prices to some of its most popular destinations, including London, New York, Lisbon, the Seychelles and Nice.

The offer is now open and runs until September 30 for flights between October 1 and June 10, 2025.

The Doha-based airline has cut prices for both economy class and business class seats.

Australians can book an economy seat from Sydney to London from as little as $1,849, while an upgrade to business class costs from as little as $8,189.

Seats on flights between Melbourne and Nice start from $1,849 in cattle class and $8,099 in business class.

A seat on this Qatari airline’s A380 from Brisbane to New York can be purchased for as little as $1,839 in economy class, and for $7,859 on the first flight.

Prices include taxes, fees and airport charges.

Qatar Airways has been flying to Australia for 15 years and has launched a sale to commemorate this.

Qatar connects Australians to more than 49 destinations in Europe and the UK, 29 in Africa, 33 in the Middle East and 13 in North and South America.

In June this year, the airline won the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards for ‘Best Airline in the World’.

“This is a proud moment for Qatar Airways and I am honoured to share this award with my dedicated team,” Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said at the Skytrax event.

“This award is a testament to our tireless commitment to providing unparalleled service and innovation.

This is the eighth time that Qatar Airways has taken the top spot.

The airline won a host of other awards, including ‘Best Business Class in the World’, ‘Best Business Class Airline Lounge in the World’ and ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’.
