Fans are being urged to prepare for tonight’s match against Poland and next week’s match against Portugal by stocking up on some snacks before half-time.

Newcomer Pie Sports joins the range with the limited edition salt and chilli chicken curry pie and kebab pie, each priced at £2.79.

‘Scottish Larder’ celebrates iconic Scottish brands from across the country.

Returning favourites include Albert Bartlett Crinkle Fries (£2.99) and Nairn’s Ginger, Dark Chocolate and Toffee Oat Biscuits (£0.99), as well as sweet treats such as Mackie’s Indulgent Toffee Fudge ice cream (£2.99).

Meanwhile, a Scottish baker has combined two favourite takeaway foods to create a 1,550-calorie doner kebab pie.

Paisley Pie Co’s £9 fusion, complete with chilli sauce, is described by customers as the “ultimate hangover cure”.

It consists of a mix of lamb, beef, chicken and turkey in a golden puff pastry box.

The döner delicacy has already attracted eager customers to the company’s Renfrewshire branch from as far away as 300 miles away.

According to the makers, each 9-inch pie would be enough for three people, but some hungry visitors have eaten more than one in one sitting.

And yet they each account for about three-quarters of the recommended daily calorie intake for a man.

Business owner Scott McGinley, 33, told The Sun: “The response has been just incredible. The word is really spreading. We’ve had people from Manchester and Brum. Some are eating two each.

“I’m a huge fan of kebabs and I know a thing or two about pies, so I thought: let’s combine the two.”

A fan said: “These should be illegal, they look amazing.”
