WWE 2K24, Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club will join PS Plus in October

Sony has revealed the list of monthly PlayStation Plus games for October. Next month’s free PS Plus titles include wrestling simulation WWE 2K24, survival horror shooter Dead Space and visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! The three games will be playable from October 1 for all PS Plus subscribers in the Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium tiers.

The PlayStation parent revealed October’s PS Plus lineup during Tuesday’s State of Play broadcast. PlayStation Plus members can add all three titles to their game libraries until November 4 and continue playing as long as they have an active PS Plus subscription.

Additionally, the monthly PS Plus games for September will be available on the service until September 30. These include Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24 and Little Nightmares II. Here’s a look at next month’s PS Plus monthly games lineup:

WWE 2K24

There isn’t much new to say about a WWE 2K game, as fans of the long-running franchise already know what they’re getting. Visual Concepts’ latest wrestling title, released in March, brings marginal improvements over its predecessor. There are some gameplay refinements and players will get a “Super Finisher” this time for a harder finishing move.

WWE 2K24’s Showcase Mode celebrates 40 years of WrestleMania, allowing players to relive some of the competition’s biggest moments. You can play historic matches from WWE legends like Undertaker and Andre the Giant or fight as modern superstars like Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The game will be available on PS4 and PS5.

Dead space

The 2023 remake of the original Dead Space will release on PS Plus next month. It is a survival horror classic, where players take control of an engineer, Isaac Clarke, as he explores USG Ishimura, a mining ship run over by grotesque monsters, Necromorphs. Clarke must investigate what happened on the ship and search for any survivors, while dispatching the Necromorphs he encounters with a series of technical tools.

Developed by Motive, the remake rebuilds the original game from the ground up and brings graphical fidelity to modern standards. Dead Space will be available on the PS5.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

The extended (Plus!) version of Doki Doki Literature Club! will also appear on PS Plus next month. The game is a visual novel, offers limited gameplay and follows a high school student who joins the literature club at school. The story unfolds to reveal romantic subplots with other characters in the game, and players’ choices determine how the story progresses and how each relationship develops.

The plus! version of the game comes with additional side stories, soundtrack and more content. The game will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

All three titles are playable for PS Plus members at no additional cost. Earlier this month, Sony also announced the slate of games that will be added to the PS Plus games catalog in September. These include The Plucky Squire, Night in the Woods, Chernobylite and more

There’s even more in store for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers. During State of Play, Sony announced that The Last of Us Part I, the remake of the original game, will join the PS Plus Game Catalog on September 26 – that is today.
