The daughter of Brock Lesnar Mya has reached new heights after establishing a university record.
The 23-year-old senior from the state of Colorado Throwed 19.01 meters in the first round to win the NCAA shot well championship.
Since Loree Smith’s 2005 victory in an outdoor event, she is the only Ramsatleet that achieve this, and joins her former WWE star father in securing a national crown, with Brock, a heavyweight wrestler in Minnesota who wins a NCAA title in 2000.
Mya, who had won the indoor championship in 2024, would like to find her own way despite the conversation around her famous father.
Mya’s high pitch of 62 feet, 4 1/2 inches was part of her incredible effort that helped to seal the victory.
Each participant gets three chances, but Mya was given an early lead by making a statement with a throw that crossed 60 feet.
On 61 feet, 10 1/4 inch, Illinois -Atleet Abria Smith’s third pitch put her in second place. Nevertheless, Mya easily won with her second best throw of 61 feet, 11 centimeters.
Her ecstatic father Brock looked at the stands while she would keep the family name in the national trusses.
The younger Lesnar previously won the NCAA Indoor Shot Put Title in 2024, which means he is only the sixth athlete of Colorado to earn outside of gold.
Mya is now the only athlete in program history that wins both indoor and outdoor championships.
After the switch from the state of Arizona to CSU, Mya became one of the best collegial pitchers in the country under coach Brian Bedard.
She came in this week’s competition as the best seed in the country after sixth place in the Olympic Summer Games 2024 in Paris.
Last summer she would win an Olympic bronze with her personal best score of 64 feet, 3 3/4 inches.
“Heck yes it was. It was pretty great,” said Lesnar on the school’s athletics website, csurams.com on her triumph.
“It is clear that this does not happen that often happens, and to do it on my first was pretty cool. I just became calm, touched my signals. [Rams coach Brian] Bedard and I have tons of trust, and that is exactly what we did. “
As mentioned, her performance reflects her famous father.
Brcl came back from a losing position in double extension to win 3-2 in one of the most exciting tournament finals ever.
In addition to starting a career that would include the status of celebrities in the WWE, UFC and a short NFL-Stint, that victory culminated a 50-2 record in Minnesota.
The climb of his daughter to NCAA greatness now partly corresponds to his remarkably powerful athletic past.
Since its last in-ring performance on Summerslam 2023, Brock has been absent in the professional wrestling industry.
