Xiaomi 12 Ultra battery, charging specs revealed ahead of launch
Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the rumored high-end smartphone from the Chinese smartphone brand, is reportedly hitting the market soon. Ahead of its official announcement, the battery and charging specifications of Xiaomi 12 Ultra have leaked online. The upcoming handset is expected to launch with minor updates over the Xiaomi 12 Pro that was launched in December last year. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to house a 4,680mAh battery. It is said to offer 120W fast charging support, similar to its predecessor Xiaomi 10 Ultra.
Tipster Digital Chat Station shared Xiaomi 12 Ultra battery specifications have been leaked on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. According to the tipster, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra, codenamed L1, could pack a 4,860mAh battery. The battery is also said to support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The older Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes with support for 120W fast charging, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was launched with support for 67W charging. To recall, another Xiaomi 12-series handset, Xiaomi 12 Pro, was launched with a 4,600mAh battery and supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The tipster earlier suggested that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra could feature a 2K Samsung display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Other previously mentioned specifications of the phone include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and 100W wired flash support.
While Xiaomi is yet to reveal any details about the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra, a previous leak had suggested that the company is gearing up to launch the smartphone sometime in February. Earlier, the handset was expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 12-series phones that consist of the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X models. To recall, the Xiaomi 12 series went official in China in the last week of December 2021.
