Xiaomi 13T Unboxing Video Reveals Specifications Ahead of Global Launch
Xiaomi 13T, the successor to the Xiaomi 12T, is expected to hit the global markets next month. While there are no official details or confirmations yet, an unboxing video of the smartphone on YouTube has revealed the phone’s design, color options and some of the key specifications. The handset is teased to come in two color options and features a rectangular camera island on the back. The smartphone is said to feature a triple camera setup on the back, with the primary camera being a 50-megapixel main sensor along with an LED flash on the back panel.
According to the leaked unboxing video on YouTube, the Xiaomi 13T will be available in at least two colors — Black and Green. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (Sudhanshu1414) also has Posted about the specifications of the smartphone, based on the YouTuber’s claims. The smartphone is said to feature a rectangular camera island with a triple camera setup on the back and an LED flash on the rear panel. The camera setup could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support. The other two lenses are said to be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Also, the phone is likely to sport a glossy finish on the back. The power button and the volume rocker are shown placed on the right edge.
On the front, the Xiaomi 13T seems to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole cutout at the top, which is said to house a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone could offer a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also likely to come with IP68 water-resistance.
The Xiaomi 13T is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It could come with up to 256GB of storage and will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box. It is teased to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The video also suggests the phone will come with facial recognition and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
All these specs also support an earlier report that suggested the Xiaomi 13T would run on MIUI 14 and feature a 144Hz refresh rate display and 67W fast charging support. The report also claimed that the Xiaomi 13T series could launch in September.
