Xiaomi 14 display details and color options officially revealed

Xiaomi will be unveiling the Xiaomi 14 series on October 26. Just a day ahead of the official launch, the Chinese tech brand has released multiple teasers, revealing the design and key specifications of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 14 is confirmed to sport a 6.36-inch display with minimal bezels. Xiaomi has also shared camera samples of the upcoming phone on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Both models are teased to feature Leica-tuned camera units on the rear and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Xiaomi has announced via Weibo confirmed The Xiaomi 14’s display specifications. It will feature a 6.36-inch Huaxing C8 LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 460ppi pixel density, and an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. The display is rated to deliver a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and full DC dimming. This is in line with a leak from last week.

The Xiaomi 14 is confirmed to come in Classic Black, Rock Blue, and Snow Mountain Pink (translated from Chinese) color options. Xiaomi has also posted a few camera samples of the upcoming handset. The samples highlight the camera advancements of the Leica cameras. The device is also teased to come with a 75mm telephoto lens.

The Xiaomi 14 series launch will take place in China at 7:00 PM (4:30 PM IST). The lineup will debut with HyperOS operating system and will be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 14 will feature a 4,600mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is said to feature a 4,860mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
