Xiaomi Buds 4 were launched alongside the Xiaomi 13 series on Sunday. The latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds made their debut as successors to last year’s Xiaomi Buds 3, along with a few upgrades. They feature adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) with Hi-Fi audio and pack dual magnetic drivers. The earbuds have Bluetooth v5.3 for connectivity and have LHDC 5.0 and Hi-Res Audio support. The Xiaomi Buds 4 have an IP54 rating for sweat and water resistance. Xiaomi claims that its new TWS earbuds can offer up to 30 hours of total playtime along with the charging case.
Xiaomi Buds 4 price
The recently launched Xiaomi Buds 4 are priced at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 8,200). They come in Field Green, Moon Shadow, and Salt Lake White color options and are currently available for sale in China.
The company is yet to announce details about the launch of the Xiaomi Buds 4 in the global market, including India.
Xiaomi Buds 4 specifications
The Xiaomi Buds 4 are powered by the company’s custom graphene dual-magnetic dynamic drivers and have dynamic adaptive EQ compensation for better sound output. The in-ear earbuds come with an adaptive ANC feature that is claimed to cancel out wind noise at 20 mph (32.4 km/h). They also have three AI-supported microphones.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 earbuds feature spatial audio and offer Type-C charging support. The earbuds have an IP54-rated body that is dust and water resistant, and have an ergonomic design to ensure comfort during long-term wear.
The new Xiaomi Buds 4 come with Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity with a maximum working distance of 10 meters. The earbuds are said to be the first earbuds to support the new LHDC 5.0 codec with a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz. They also support AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs. The earbuds are also Hi-Res audio certified.
Xiaomi’s new TWS earbuds are said to offer up to six hours of playback time on a single charge. The earbuds come with an oval-shaped charging case and together they are said to offer up to 30 hours of playback time. They are also said to offer 2.5 hours of playback time with just 10 minutes of charging.
There is a 35mAh battery in each earbud and a 480mAh battery in the charging case. The case can be charged via the included USB Type-C cable.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 measures 50.90 x 58.09 x 26.98 mm with the case. The earbuds measure 18.62 x 30.68 x 19.70 mm. Each earbud weighs 4.4 grams, and the earbuds weigh 37.65 grams with their charging case.
