Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 Specifications, Screen Sizes Tipped
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 will feature a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch internal display size, according to a leading tipster. Xiaomi’s second foldable phone is also said to feature an improved crease on the internal screen. Further, information regarding the smartphone’s specs and design have also been leaked. The phone may feature a book-style foldable design — just like the Mi Mix Fold — and could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC.
Tipster Digital Chat Station claims The tipster has claimed that Xiaomi’s alleged Mi Mix Fold 2 smartphone will feature 6.5-inch and 8-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rate along with DC Dimming for eye protection. The Mi Mix Fold’s cover display will have a 60Hz refresh rate. The tipster further claims that the new foldable smartphone’s inner display will get LTPO technology and that the “fold will be much better” (translated) than its predecessor. It is speculated that the Mi Mix Fold 2’s display will feature a thinner crease compared to the Mi Mix Fold.
Additionally, the tipster says that the Mi Mix Fold 2 will be powered by the rumors Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC. The chipset, which could have model number SM8475, is said to be based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing platform and offers a number of improvements. The phone is said to launch sometime “mid-year.”
Xiaomi has not launched the Mi Mix Fold in India and there is no information available yet on whether the Chinese company will launch the second-generation of its foldable phone in the country.
