Xiaomi Mix Flip, the first clamshell foldable from Xiaomi, is set to go official later this month. The exact launch date is likely to be revealed soon but ahead of that, the handset has been spotted on the website of Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC). The alleged listing reveals real-world images, battery and charging details of the Xiaomi Mix Flip. It is likely to be fueled by a 4,700mAh battery. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera.
According to a report According to MySmartPrice, the NCC listing shows a smartphone with model number 2405CPX3DG. This model number is said to be associated with the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The listing reveals that the phone will offer 67W fast charging support with the MDY-15-EV adapter and suggests the presence of a dual battery with a capacity of 1,145mAh and 3,595mAh.
Meanwhile, a well-known tipster on Weibo provided more clarity on the battery capacity of the Xiaomi Mix Flip. He claims that it could feature a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Earlier it was said that it would feature a 4,900mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mix Flip live images appear on NCC site
The alleged NCC listing includes live images of the Xiaomi Mix Flip and they suggest that the clamshell foldable phone will come with a vertically-aligned dual camera setup on the cover display. It appears to have a center-aligned punch-hole cutout on the foldable’s main display and Xiaomi branding at the bottom. The images could be of a prototype device.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip was previously spotted on the Thai certification database of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, IMEI and TUV with the same model number: 2405CPX3DG.
Xiaomi announced earlier this week that the Mix Flip will launch later this month, alongside the Mix Fold 4. The new phones are the first devices to come out of the new Xiaomi Smart Factory in Changping, Beijing, and are expected to launch in global markets outside of China.
According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mix Flip will feature a 1.5K resolution display and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It could feature a dual camera setup on the rear that is expected to include a 50-megapixel OV50E primary sensor and a 60-megapixel OV60A secondary sensor with 2x optical zoom. It could get a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.
