Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi 13C specifications, features

The Redmi 13C 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a max refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phone runs on MIUI 14 out of the box but is based on Android 13 out of the box. It offers a triple SIM tray with two slots for Nano SIM cards and a dedicated slot for a microSD card (supports up to 1TB). The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 internal storage.

For optics, the camera setup at the back includes dual cameras, only one of which is accessible to the user. This includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary camera for gathering depth information when using the portrait mode. Selfies are handled by a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and this is embedded in a U-shaped (dot drop) notch at the top of the display.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery but now offers 18W charging support compared to the previous model. However, Xiaomi only includes a 10W charger in the box, meaning buyers will have to buy the 18W charger separately. Xiaomi doesn’t provide an official IP rating for this device, simply stating that it is splash-proof and offers dust protection. The phone supports multiple 5G bands (SA: n1/n3/n5/n8/n28/n40/n78, NSA: n1/n3/n40/n78/n8) and there’s dual standby too. There’s Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, support for the usual Global Positioning Systems, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port too.
