Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will debut on this date
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is all set to make its global debut at the company’s upcoming launch event. The wearable device will be launching alongside the upcoming Xiaomi 13T series at the Xiaomi Launch September event in Berlin next week. The company has confirmed the launch on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a teaser video, which hints at the smartwatch coming in the form of a round dial. It is also confirmed that it will be powered by Google’s Wear OS. However, other details are yet to be confirmed by the company. It was previously tipped that the upcoming Xiaomi smartwatch could feature an AMOLED display.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of its upcoming wearable Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro via an X (formerly known as Twitter) post. The smartwatch will be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 13T series at the company’s event in Berlin on September 26. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the watch will be powered by Google’s Wear OS. The teaser video also reveals that the watch will come with a circular display. Apart from this, the company has not yet revealed any details on the smartwatch’s design and specifications.
However, an earlier report has leaked the design, color options and specifications of the upcoming smartwatch. The wearable is said to feature a circular, rotating dial with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. The smartwatch is likely to feature HD resolution and an always-on display. The report also suggests that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro could come in Bluetooth and 4G LTE variants.
The report also revealed that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is likely to offer body composition analysis, sleep monitoring and SpO2 tracking along with various sports modes. It is further tipped to come in two color options – one with a brown leather strap and the other with a black fluoroplastic strap.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi will also be launching the Xiaomi 13T series on September 26. Recently, the alleged marketing images of the Xiaomi 13T series were leaked online, which suggested three different shades of the series, featuring Leica-tuned cameras at the rear. The top-of-the-line Xiaomi 13T Pro is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC while the vanilla model is likely to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC under the hood.
