Nine years after the cast of brightly colored costumes disappeared from the airwaves, the Yo Gabba Gabba crew is back on Apple TV Plus this week.
The music and dance-centric children’s show, beloved by kids and hipsters alike, originally aired on Nickelodeon in the US and boasted the coolest guest list on TV, with everyone from Erika BaduUnpleasant Cornelis And The flaming lips creating memorable musical performances alongside artists such as Anthony Bourdain, Jason Bateman And Jacket black.
Now Apple has revived the series with a new 10-episode series called Yo Gabba GabbaLand!
While original host DJ Lance Rock won’t be returning, Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Toodee and Plex are back to party. The toys come to life thanks to the imagination of new host Kammy Kam, played by Come Dance with Me star Kamryn Smith.
Musical guests this time around include Diplo, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak and Betty Who.
