There’s nothing more frustrating than spending hours cleaning your windows only to be left with streaks and soap scum.
But according to a woman known only as Danielle, that’s because you’ve been doing it wrong all this time. And there’s even an optimal time of day to get the best results.
On TikTok, the guru – who posts under the username @cleaningwithdanielled – the most effective method for clear windows has been demonstrated.
If you live in a newer home, Danielle also has a handy method that makes the job a breeze.
In the clipthe brunette beauty told that there is a special function for recently installed windows: a small button that allows you to slide the windows left or right.
This handy trick will save you a lot of time and effort and will allow you to easily reach both sides of the glass, making it easier to wipe the glass clean and giving you a perfect result.
There’s one more important point to remember when it comes to streak-free windows: what’s the best time of day to clean your windows?
The TikTok cleaning expert, who has a whopping 1.9 million followers, admitted that early morning or late evening are the best times for this household task.
Danielle explains: “Always clean your windows, very early in the morning, later in the day, or on a gloomy day.
”Basically when the sun isn’t shining on your house.
”The sun causes the product to dry too quickly on your windows, causing streaks to appear.”
Other social media users responded en masse to the comments and made their opinions heard. There were also people who had already put this tip into practice.
