5 HUGE Coronation Street SPOILERS: Everything you need to know about this week’s drama

This week will be another action-packed week on the cobbles of Coronation Street, with a couple about to be rocked by a shocking cheating scandal.

As Paul Foreman continues to struggle with motor neuron disease, he lashes out at his partner Billy and spends the night with a former flame.

Elsewhere, Gemma and Chesney’s money problems continue to pile up as she becomes overwhelmed with caring for six young children, leaving Daniel’s son Bernie in grave danger.

And when he learns that his wife Sarah is pregnant after an affair, Adam makes it clear he can’t trust her anymore, sending their marriage into yet another crisis.

Paul cheats on Billy

The chili eating contest takes place at the bistro, and as the crowd roars Dev, Chesney, and Shona, Gemma reminds everyone to give generously.

Bernie counts the money and hands Paul £800. Paul is touched by their generosity, but later Billy and Bernie argue over religion versus crystals.

Paul claims their continued interference is not helping and storms out. Paul has escaped to a hotel bar and sees Zac, a blast from his past, and offers to buy him a drink.

The next day, Paul wakes up in the hotel room with a monumental hangover, and as he reaches for his coat he realizes with horror that Zac has stolen the £800 charity money.

Returning home, Billy is relieved when Paul explains he had one too many and passed out on a friend’s couch.

But when Billy suggests using the charity money to buy a stairlift and offers to invest it for him, Paul snaps.

Overcome with guilt, Paul confesses to Billy how he met Zac, an old flame, they got drunk and things got out of hand. Billy is shocked.

Can Billy and Paul put recent events behind them?

Gemma’s overwhelming day puts Bertie in danger

When Chesney explains that they can’t afford him going to summer club with his friends, Joseph is gutted and Gemma says she’ll ask Jenny for more services.

As Chesney goes to work, leaving Gemma stressed out with five kids to care for, she breaks down on Rita, admitting she’s utterly exhausted, struggling with Paul’s illness and feeling like when she had postpartum depression.

Daniel and Michael drop Bertie and Glory off at Number 5 for the day, and as they leave, an exhausted Gemma examines the room full of children, wondering how she’ll make it.

Bernie has heard about Chesney’s antidepressants and offers to help out for an hour while Gemma goes to the cafe.

But when Beth Gemma tears off a comic because she’s slacking off, she runs home, fighting back tears.

While Gemma closes her eyes for a moment, Bertie empties her purse and finds the packet of antidepressants.

When Daniel and Daisy arrive, they are unimpressed to find Gemma asleep on the couch, then all shocked to realize that Bertie has eaten the tablets! Will he be okay?

Stephen’s plan gains momentum

While Carla demands a meeting with Seagull Ltd, Stephen begs his ex Gabrielle to pose as an adviser to his fake company, promising to make it worth her while. Stephen watches as Carla attends the Zoom call with Seagull.

Gabrielle gives an excellent performance and it’s clear that Carla is included. But when Sarah returns for her laptop, Stephen panics. Is the game over?

Later, Stephen tells Elaine that he has booked her a wedding consultation with a personal shopper and that Audrey is coming with her.

When they return with their wedding outfits, the good humor is broken when Tim makes it clear his dislike of Stephen and tells them not to send him an invitation.

On Stephen’s advice, Elaine writes Tim a letter telling him how much he hurt her and how she can’t take it anymore.

Stephen plants more seeds and tells Dr. Gaddas he’s worried Elaine is depressed, she refuses to seek help and might do something drastic.

Sally tells Tim that Stephen is worried that Elaine is suffering from depression due to all the recent conflicts and urges him to change his attitude for the sake of his mother… will Tim give in?

The embattled Ryan returns to work

Ryan confides in Carla that he knows it’s time to go back to work, but he’s reluctant to go public.

But when Daisy tries to make conversation, an embittered Ryan discovers he’s already back at the bistro and she can forget about him.

Ryan calls the bistro and nervously tells Leanne he wants to get back to work, and when a customer complains about Ryan’s facial scars, Leanne jumps to his rescue, claiming he’s a hero. Ryan has noticed the end of her outburst and hurries out.

Later, Leanne agrees that Ryan can work behind the scenes until he feels more confident and suggests he start arranging a new wine contract.

Ryan flirts with the supplier Rose on the phone in an attempt to make a good deal.

But when Rose reveals she’s been checking his socials and wonders if he’s still single, Ryan is thrown, especially when Leanne thanks him for landing such a great deal and reveals that Rose is going to call!

Adam struggles to trust Sarah

Adam admits to Daniel that while he loves Sarah, he has trouble trusting her and doesn’t like her spending so much time with Owen.

He rings the factory doorbell with lunch, but when he finds out she’s at the Chariot Square Hotel with Owen, it’s hard for him to contain his fear. In the hotel bar, Adam goes hunting for a fight.
