Adele interrupted her residency concert in Las Vegas to ask the audience if they dared to explore the remains of the Titanic on the ocean floor.

Her investigation comes after the tragic news that five passengers died on the Titan, a 21ft submarine, following a ‘catastrophic implosion’.

“How many people before this week, if they could, would go to the bottom of the ocean to see the Titanic? Raise your hands,” she said as she sat onstage at the piano, as seen in footage uploaded by a fan to TikTok.

After asking those willing to take the risk to raise their hands, the mother of one child said she wasn’t surprised that most of her fans would have passed up the chance.

Still, the Hello hitmaker was curious to see if anyone in the crowd would take a trip to space in a rocket.

When she found out the majority wouldn’t, she admitted, “I wouldn’t either, but only because I’m a little a**sy.” I’m a scared cat.’

The 16-time Grammy winner further revealed that she doesn’t even “go on rollercoasters.”

“I just really have no interest in the deep sea or space, so that’s why,” she added.

Still, the artist, who had a Titanic-themed birthday in 2018, said she found both topics “interesting.”

Adele famously celebrated turning 30 dressed as Kate Winslet’s Rose, with a party inspired by James Cameron’s classic 1997 epic romance and disaster movie.

At the time, she thanked her “family and friends for entertaining” her “Titanic movie super fandom.”

“Last night was the best night of my life,” she gushed on Instagram, after the festivities. “I’m absolutely goddamned, I’m not sure I’ll save the house again.”

In March, Adele said her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has “brought her back to life.”

“How many people before this week, if they could, would go to the bottom of the ocean to see the Titanic? Raise your hands,

‘I feel so safe here. My life is small. I don’t really leave my house and that’s by choice. My life was huge when I was younger. But it’s like the bigger my career has gotten, the more scared and anxious I’ve become,” she said during a show earlier this year.

She continued: “I hang out with my dogs, my son and my friend, and chat with my housekeeper. I’m really looking forward to coming on Friday and Saturday [to Vegas] and it feels like having a night out and seeing my friends. It brought me back to life.’

‘: ‘Usually I get butterflies and I get nervous and say a little prayer on stage and cross my fingers, but these shows don’t make me nervous. It was the best four months of my career. This show has brought me so much joy. I enjoyed doing it,” the star concluded.

Elsewhere, the hitmaker reportedly got emotional when she spoke about her last-minute residency cancellation last year, saying it was “the worst thing I’d ever felt in my career.”

But she proudly declared she had come back and ‘as usual I smashed it’ and said it was the ‘London woman’ in her.

“I wouldn't either, but only because I'm a little a**sy. I'm a scared cat,” she admitted

Adele also revealed that she would be extending her residency until November during the same show.

‘Playing 34 nights in front of 4,000 people is not enough. And I know it’s not enough, so I’ll be back,” Someone Like You’s Crooner announced to loud cheers from the crowd.

The hitmaker continued to delight her fans and announced that she will also be releasing a concert film from the residency.

“And after a few weeks in June I’m going to film it and I’m going to put it out to make sure anyone who wants to see it can see the show,” she said, adding, “And then I’ll be back from August to the end of autumn.’

She also praised the atmosphere and her fans, saying, “It’s such a great atmosphere in this room.”
