The youngster, from Bristol, can be seen in tears as he runs to his older sibling, who is cradling the newborn in her arms.
His mother Georgina Smart used her TikTok @georginaann3 to share the emotional clip, which has been viewed more than 3 million times.
The proud mother explained that she had to leave her son's birthday party early because she was in labor, which left him “worried.”
Georgina captioned the video: 'This beautiful moment will be cherished forever.'
In the clip you see how the boy, completely overwhelmed with emotions, greets his mother in the hospital.
Georgina says “go to your sister,” prompting the new big brother to rush to the baby.
As he looked at his mother, he could be heard asking, “Is the baby out?” to which she answers 'yes'.
The sweet boy then gave the newborn a kiss before running to his older sister to give her a big hug.
Georgina took to the comments to explain the scene a little further, saying: 'She was born on his birthday and that made me leave his party early. He was so worried when I left.”
