Tie dye front! Akshata Murthy cuts a casual figure in £88 LuluLemon leggings and hoodie as she walks the dog outside Downing Street

The UK’s ‘first lady’ looked effortlessly chic this morning as she took the family dog for a walk outside Downing Street.

Akshata Murty, 43, who is married to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, doubled down on tie-dye garments for her casual outing.

The mother-of-two opted for a pair of £88 ‘Align’ leggings from Vancouver-based sportswear brand LuluLemon.

The eye-catching briefs – which were reduced to £54 in their recent sale – feature a purple-and-pink tie-dye print.

The billionaire’s daughter, whose wardrobe often includes luxury items, paired it with a light gray-and-pink tie-dye hoodie.

In keeping with the color theme, Akshata completed her dog walking gear with a pair of pale pink sneakers.

Akshata also carried a small black bumbag, which contained her dog walking essentials — including treats for Labrador retriever Nova.

The mother tied her long hair in a low bun and wore a black cap over it.

While on the phone, Akshata was pictured wearing light green sunglasses and carrying Nova’s belt in one hand.

In May, the mother exchanged her high-end designer items for well-known brands such as ME+EM and Sezane for the G7 summit in Toyko.

The 43-year-old landed in Hiroshima wearing a £675 green Joseph midi dress and a Union Jack umbrella.

She chose a £295 pink floral dress from royal favorite ME+EM to attend the Husbands Program in Hiroshima and also donned a £350 turtleneck from Joseph and a £150 Sezane skirt to visit a memorial.

Askshata was rumored to have been working with former Tory first lady Samantha Cameron’s stylist for the past few months.

Mr Sunak and Ms Murthy have built a fortune of £730m between them, the Sunday Times Rich List revealed in May, making him the first front-line politician to feature in the annual wealth ranking since its inception in 1989.

Mr Sunak made a lot of money in the City of London before entering politics.

But most of the money comes from his wife’s stake in IT giant Infosys, founded by her father NR Narayana Murthy, one of the richest men in India who has been described as the father of India’s IT sector and “a of the 12 greatest businessmen of all time’.

Last week, Akshata revealed a little more about her life as the UK’s ‘first lady’ in the first photos on her new Instagram account.

She used the messages to speak about the difficulties of parenting and mental health for children from an early age.

To illustrate, she posted photos of her visits to a community center in Cornwall that supports parents of young children, and a later visit to a North London primary school known for its work on children’s mental health.

She follows only 32 people, including her husband, members of the royal family, the NHS and David Attenborough.
