Amanda Keller named the women on radio she is closest to, but there was a glaring omission from her list.

The star of WSFM 101.7 Sydney’s Jonesy & Amanda show rattled off former 2GB star Deb Knight, Nova’s Kate Ritchie and Hit’s Erin Molan as women – and peers – she counts among her closest friends.

There was one radio titan Amanda didn’t mention: KIIS FM’s Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who as co-star of the Kyle and Jackie O show is the biggest name in the industry and the highest-paid woman on the airwaves.

“We all share stories of navigating an industry that was male-dominated for so long and surviving while having young children,” the 62-year-old told the newspaper. Daily telegram from her gang of friends.

“We share so many lived experiences. And I will never forget the kindness of Wendy Harmer when I first started on breakfast radio,” she continued.

“Even though we had competing services, she went out of her way to welcome me to the club.”

Amanda added that when the women come together as a group, “it’s very difficult to silence them.”

It’s unclear if Keller simply forgot to mention Jackie or if the pair aren’t particularly close.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted WSFM 101.7 for comment.

It comes after Keller and her co-star Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones said their KIIS FM stablemates, Henderson and Kyle Sandilands, may be overstating the value of their latest deal with the Australian Radio Network.

The WSFM hosts previously claimed that reports of Kyle and Jackie’s previous $80 million pay packages were likely “inflated.”

Brendan told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I would say this figure is a bit of a sum that may have been inflated because it’s important to look good with that kind of money. That’s the way the show rolls.”

‘I’m not taking anything away from them, that’s their thing, that’s what they do. They respect us and we respect them,” he added.

Amanda added: “We actually really like it [Kyle and Jackie O] and we are very pragmatic, they have their show and they have their style of doing things and we have our style of doing things.

“If you cared, you’d hit your head against a brick wall [about salaries] and let it sink in, but I’ll ring them up for some bus fare.’

Last year it was reported that Henderson and Sandilands were reportedly preparing to leave if they could not strike a new lucrative deal with their bosses at the Australian Radio Network.

The radio duo have reportedly demanded a 100% increase from their current salary of $5 million per year, to a shocking $10 million per year – making it the biggest deal in Australian radio history.

Over the course of a 10-year contract, the pay increase would earn them a total of $200 million, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The record deal would continue the shock jock team until the end of 2034 and make them the highest-paid radio hosts in the country.

While other radio veterans like Ray Hadley, Keller and Carrie Bickmore earn just $3.5 million a year, Kyle (52) and Jackie O (49) will dominate.

At the end of last year, the duo triumphed in the sixth radio ratings of the year.

KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show beat 2GB’s Ben Fordham in Sydney to take a huge audience share of 14.7 per cent (up 0.8 per cent on last year).

The survey also found that ABC Sydney edged ahead of WSFM 101.7’s Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones to become the third highest-rated breakfast show.
