AMAZON has revealed a trick for Fire TV Stick users and it could make your home devices easier to manage.

The tip is for people who have a smart home environment with many connected devices.

“Giving your Fire TV Stick a good name can make it easier to manage in the context of a smart home.

“It will help you manage your devices in the Alexa app and know which Fire TV Stick you control,” Amazon says his website.

Changing the name of your Fire TV Stick is easy.

All you have to do is go to Amazon.com and log into your account.

Then click on the Manage your content and devices page.

Then open the Devices tab and select the gadget you want to rename.

All you have to do is click the Edit button and write down your chosen name.

Amazon also offers other tips to make your Fire TV Stick a useful part of your smart home network.

The tech giant explains: “Your Fire TV Stick device can also control other devices in your home theater, as long as they support the right technology.

Amazon adds: “To enable HDMI CEC, go to Fire TV Settings > Display & Sound > HDMI CEC Device Manager.
