American compares UK McDonald's to what's available in the US – and is pleasantly surprised by one 'terribly good' menu item

An American traveling through Britain has taken it upon himself to compare the quality of McDonald's in Britain with that in the United States.

During his first visit to Britain, Kalani Hunter, from Hawaii, took recommendations from viewers on which restaurants and cuisines he should review.

In his latest video, he took a trip to a McDonald's branch in Liverpool, where he ordered a mix of menu items only available in Britain, as well as some he had previously tried in the United States.

Kalani started by enjoying a classic Quarter Pounder with Cheese, which he has eaten regularly in the past.

The vlogger was complimentary about the first item he tasted, saying it tasted “very close to home.”

He then moved on to an item not available in the United States: the Steakhouse Stack.

Kalani was once again impressed, especially with the burger's pepper sauce, noting, “It tastes really good for a McDonald's burger.”

Moving on to a favorite side of Cheesy Garlic Bites, he decided to pair them with the fast food chain's curry sauce, which is also not available in America, and found it to be “pretty good.”

He followed that up with a bite of a Crispy Chicken Fajita One, praising it for being “10,000 to one better than Taco Bell.”

Mr Hunter was also keen to try the Golden Arches version of BBQ sauce, which he found disappointing in Britain compared to what is on offer at home.

It seems he was able to satisfy his craving for the seasoning, which he noted “tasted more like home.”

Trying out his latest item, the content creator unwrapped a Galaxy Caramel Pie and, judging by his reaction, seemed to be saving the best for last.

After taking a big bite of the dessert, he exclaimed, “Oh my, that's damn good!”
