Android owners can now pick up a free 'mind-boggling puzzle adventure' game

Need a new mobile distraction that isn't Facebook? Luckily, there's a whole host of worlds waiting for you in the Google Play Store.

Android owners have tons of free and paid games at their fingertips, but the best pastime is paywall titles that you can get for free.

Games that are behind a paywall often have no ads – a privilege that most users have to pay for.

This ad-free 'mind-bending puzzle adventure' called Lost Treasure 2 previously cost £3.99 to install – which is quite pricey for a mobile game.

But it is currently free in the Google Play Store.

It's a classic point-and-click adventure puzzle game, where players follow clues and hidden paths and discover ancient temples built by long-lost tree-dwelling inhabitants.

The treasure hunt game is set on a newly discovered archipelago of islands in the Pacific Ocean, not far from the Galápagos Islands.

There are a whopping 89 game map scenes to follow, although players say they played through Lost Treasure 2 quite quickly.

Lost Treasure 2 has achieved 4.7 out of 5 stars in almost 1.5 thousand reviews on the Google Play Store.

One reviewer called the app “a wonderful little puzzle game that will probably take you several hours to play.”

“While it's certainly not perfect – the hints are largely useless unless you pay the .99 to get the videos, and several of the puzzles could be a bit clearer in what they ask you to do – it's a pretty solid point-and- click adventure with approximately 80 scenes to explore.”

Another wrote: “A good puzzling, reasonably priced point and click adventure, if a little short.

“Maybe it's necessary to move on because there's still a sense of déjà vu about it.

“But it should be entertaining for beginners. Ultimately quite a time waster.”
