ARIA Awards 2023: Jessica Mauboy shocks as she reveals her new copper locks on the red carpet
She has established herself as one of the country’s most famous singers after bursting onto the scene with Australian Idol in 2006.
But Jessica Mauboy, 34, proved on Wednesday that she still has a few tricks up her sleeve when she debuted fiery red hair at the 2023 ARIA Awards.
Jessica previewed her shocking new copper look ahead of the awards at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
‘Can’t cope [with] Jessica Mauboy Today I enjoyed transforming this beauty,” the singer’s hairdresser wrote lovingly.
This year Jessica has been nominated for ‘Best Video’ with her new single ‘Give You Love’ featuring Jason Derulo.

Jessica has previously won two ARIA Music Awards from 25 nominations.
She recently talked about her new album ‘Yours Forever’, which includes the new single ‘Flashback’.
Last week, Jessica spoke to The Daily Telegraph about the personal nature of her new music, revealing that one of the songs was about her husband, Themeli Magripilis.

“Whatever love means to you, this song is,” she said. “It reflects that butterfly feeling from the moment I literally first saw it.
Jessica also remembered the first time they met.
“It’s strange when you come from a small town and you’re supposed to know everyone, but I’ve never met him. I had that moment of, ‘Where have you been? Who are you? You are not of this world’.’
Her new album ‘Yours Forever’ will be released in February.
