Mumbai: Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is currently basking in her success in her recently released political thriller film, Article 370. On Monday afternoon, Yami Gautam took to her social media to share a short post proving the critics wrong about the film. In her post, she also said that many told her the film was “too technical and too much political jargon.” Read through.
Yami Gautam thanks naysayers for criticizing Article 370
Yami Gautam took to X/Twitter on her social media, where she wrote a descriptive post about the successful box office run of Article 370. Yami on wouldn’t work with the audience, ‘he’s too technical, too much political jargons, etc.’. But we went ahead based on feeling, because we knew those naysayers underestimated our audience. Thank you all for proving them absolutely wrong. Thank you so much for giving so much love to our little movie, with a big heart. We are humbled and will remain forever grateful to all of you. In the X-post, Yami Gautam Dhar shared an image showing the box office collection of the political thriller film. Article 370 collected Rs 6.12 crore on its opening day, on day 2 it collected Rs 9.08 crore and on day 3 of the film’s successful run it made a collection of Rs 10.25 crore.

The film is led from the front by Bollywood diva Yami Gautam, who plays the role of Zooni Haksar who acts as an intelligence officer. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film also features actors like Priyamani, Arun Govil and Kiran Karmarkar in pivotal roles. The politically driven thriller film revolves around the timeline of the removal of the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, which was established under Article 370.

Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, recently highlighted the Yami Gautam film, Article 370. While addressing the gatherings in Jammu, Modi referred to the political thriller film 370. He said, “I have heard that there is a film on Article 370 will be made. released this week… It is a good thing because it will help people get correct information (sic).”
After the video mentioning Article 370, Yami Gautam took to her social media handle and said, “It’s an absolute honor to see Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji talking about #Article370Movie. My team and I truly hope that we will all exceed your expectations by bringing this incredible story to the screen!
