Two teenage passengers killed in a horror crash in Sydney’s south-west have been identified as a manhunt continues for two men who fled the scene.
Best friends Braydan Collier, 13, and Kaine Bell, 14, were traveling in a gray Ford Falcon sedan which crashed into a tree and utility pole with such force that the vehicle was torn into twos.
Emergency services found their bodies scattered across the lawn of a property, more than five meters from where most of the car came to a stop.
Police launched an urgent manhunt for the driver and front seat passenger after they fled the scene.
The hunt for Nicholas Thew and Anthony Morris continues on Monday evening.
Brayden had just celebrated his 13th birthday.
It comes after sickening footage was captured of the moment the driver dumped one of the boy’s bodies on the ground before fleeing the scene.
One of the men could be heard shouting, “I want to go home,” to his fellow passenger in the front seat as they ran away, leaving the teens behind.

Now CCTV footage has emerged showing the adult driver picking up the body of one of the dead boys from the wreckage of the tail before dumping it on the ground.
The sickening vision reportedly shows the driver pulling out of the wreckage shortly after the crash before walking past the body of a child lying on the ground..
He then pulls a second boy from the tail wreckage before pushing him to the ground, police said Daily telegram.
The driver then runs back to free a young adult from the front seat before checking on the boy who was thrown from the car.
He rests his head on his hands before fleeing the scene.
A boy on a dirt bike also reportedly inspected the scene before riding away.
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told Daily Mail Australia they saw the car driving erratically in the moments leading up to the crash, with the front passenger behaving wildly.
“About ten minutes before the crash happened, my family was walking down Busby Road (about two kilometers away from the crash site) and we saw him waving out the windows and shouting and acting stupid in the passenger seat,” she said.
“They were (allegedly) speeding, skidding and turning with the handbrake.”
Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden, Traffic and Highways Police Commander, said police believe the gray Ford sedan was traveling north on Maxwells Avenue, “well above” the 30mph speed limit on the quiet residential street.
He blamed it on a “direct result of speeding” and urged the driver and front seat passenger to come forward, adding: “We will find them.”

“They just need to report to a police station so that we can talk to them and they can help us with the investigation and find out how this tragic situation developed,” he said.
“But at the end of the day, in a situation like that, the driver is ultimately responsible for themselves, their passengers and everyone else on the road.”
Deputy Commissioner McFadden said witnesses would have been traumatized by the scene.
“The absolute devastation that has occurred… and the loss of two young lives when they were ejected from that vehicle,” Mr McFadden told reporters.
“Anyone who witnessed that crash would undoubtedly have been traumatized by it.”

Police have launched a manhunt after witnesses revealed that two people had fled
“The car consists of two pieces: one part is still wrapped around the tree and the other half is on the threshold of the house,” Helen El-cheikh said on Facebook.
“On arrival, officers from Liverpool Police Area Command were advised that a gray sedan crashed into a tree and electricity pole, before two people reportedly exited the vehicle and ran away,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
“Two occupants of the vehicle – two boys – died at the scene. They are yet to be formally identified but are both believed to be between 10 and 15 years old.”
The two victims have yet to be formally identified. There are no reports of injuries or vehicles involved.
A police helicopter circles above the area and broadcasts messages to residents via loudspeakers.
The message explains that police are looking for two men, one aged 18 to 20 in a yellow shirt and the other dressed in black.
Manila Cheonan and Vongkeo Chan live near the crash and are shocked after seeing the boys dead at the scene.
Deputy Commissioner McFadden said police did not believe the car had been stolen.
“We believe the vehicle has a connection to the people in the car,” he said.
A trail bike was also seen on the street around the same time of the accident.
The police called on the driver of that vehicle to report.
Helicopter crews and the dog brigade search for the two boys who fled.
A crime scene has been cordoned off and the road is closed in both directions.
