Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Indian community organizes 'Bhajan-Kirtan' in Taiwan on 'Pran Pratishtha' evening | VIDEO

The events, which hosted the Indian diaspora in Taiwan and the dedicated efforts of ISKCON Taiwan, witnessed the coming together of the Indian community on the eve of the inauguration of Ram Mandir.

Ram Mandir Inauguration: The Indian diaspora in Taiwan held celebrations on Sunday on the eve of the much-awaited Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Indians living in this South Asian country enjoyed a joyful celebration as they held 'Bhajan-Kirtan' programs to mark this momentous occasion.

Two separate events, organized by the Indian diaspora in Taiwan and the dedicated efforts of ISKCON Taiwan, witnessed the Indian community coming together on the eve of the Ram Mandir dedication and participating in religious rituals.

Meanwhile, the Indian Association of Taiwan said it will live stream the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22 in a bid to allow devotees to witness the grand event and enable community members to participate in the event remotely promising events.

Highlighting the importance of these celebrations and actively participating in the community events, Manhar Singh Yadav, DG of ITA (India-Taiwan Association) expressed his gratitude to the Indian diaspora in Taiwan “for their continued efforts to stay connected with their roots and to commit themselves wholeheartedly to various Indian celebrations.”

Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratishtha'

Ayodhya is gearing up to host the grand consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in January. The 'Pran Pratishtha' rituals will be performed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will unveil the Ram Lalla idol to the world.

Prime Minister Modi will perform rituals marking the 'Pran Pratishtha' while a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit will conduct the main Vedic rituals.

Elaborate security actions and arrangements have also been made in the temple town ahead of the ceremony.

“We are making the necessary safety preparations in coordination with the authorities involved. The visitors have already arrived for the 'Pran Pratishtha'. We provide close surveillance via drone cameras and human intelligence. All security gaps are being identified and addressed on priority,” said Ayodhya police chief Praveen Kumar.

The entire temple town is soaked in religious fervor and the streets are filled with songs like 'Ram Aayenge' and 'Awadh Mein Ram Aayen Hain' as devotees eagerly await the 'Pran Pratishtha' at the Ram temple tomorrow.

Ram Lalla idol placed in sanctum sanctorum

Earlier, the new Ram Lalla idol, depicting Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, also made from the same stone, was installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ayodhya Ram temple.

The majestic Ram Lalla idol, measuring 51 inches in length and weighing a whopping 1.5 tonnes, was sculpted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj.
