Ayodhya: The much-awaited prestigious Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony in Ayodhya has concluded, but the allegations and counter-arguments regarding the temple are going nowhere. Historic moment after 500 years

'The historic moment, eagerly awaited for generations, came after 500 years. At a time like this, a range of emotions take over and you struggle to put your feelings into words. My mind is also caught up in a whirlwind of emotions. I am deeply moved and overwhelmed as I stand here among all of you. I can say without a doubt that all of you must be experiencing a similar outpouring of emotions,” CM Yogi said.

“During this historic and most sacred event, every town and village in the country was transformed into Ayodhya Dham. Every route today has converged to the birthplace of Shri Ram,” the CM added.

CM Yogi compares the Ram Mandir ceremony to the beginning of Treta Yug

Seeing tears of joy among many as they chanted 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Ram, Ram', CM Adityanath said, “The entire country is 'Rammay' (obsessed with Lord Ram). The sights and sounds around us can give us the impression that we have entered 'Treta Yug'. As Prabhu Shri Ram ascends his throne today, it marks the fulfillment of a decree. We are all overcome with emotions. Joy, pride and a deep sense of contentment fill the hearts of every Ram Bhakt on this auspicious day.

The day we've all been waiting for is finally here. Nearly five centuries passed in anticipation of this emotional moment. Ram Bhakts left for their heavenly abode ('Saketdham') for several generations with regrets of an unfulfilled wish in their hearts, as the wait lengthened and the struggle continued.

Much awaited Ram Janmabhoomi movement

CM Yogi added that the Ram Janmabhoomi movement was perhaps the first and only of its kind where the majority community in a country fought for so many years and at so many levels on their own soil for the construction of a temple at the birthplace. of their idol.

“Everyone from ascetics, seers, priests, nagas and nihangs to intellectuals, politicians and tribes rose above their caste, creed, thoughts, philosophies and ways of worship and devoted themselves to the cause of Prabhu Ram. Today marks the joyful and momentous culmination of their efforts in raising this great temple from its ruins.

Contentment in the heart of Sanatanis

The sacrifices and penances of millions of Sanatanis (believers of Sanatan dharma) have paid off today. There is a deep sense of satisfaction that the temple stands today exactly where it was supposed to be built years ago,” said Adityanath.

Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yogi said that under his leadership the age-old temple dispute was ended after the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court in 2019. He added, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for helping us to realize this long-cherished 'sankalp' (determination) and 'sadhana' (devotion) and put an end to our long wait.
