In the meantime, Netflix is already offering something festive, with a whole range of Christmas films available on the streaming service.

One of the latest Christmas releases is being labeled by fans as the worst festive movie ever, even though it has an all-star cast.

To rub salt in the wound, the film, now available on the streaming platform, has achieved an abysmal Rotten Tomato score of 33 percent.

The best Christmas ever! sees mother-of-two Charlotte (Heather Graham) arriving uninvited at the home of her ex-best friend, Jackie (Brandy Norwood) in an attempt to discover if her boastful annual festive newsletters are in fact true.

But Charlotte is surprised when she discovers her former friend’s seemingly perfect life.

Charlotte spends the holidays with her former girlfriend’s family, along with her husband Rob (Jason Biggs) and children Dora (Abby Villasmil) and Grant (Wyatt Hunt).

Despite the film’s plot being seemingly heartwarming, some fans still go so far as to call it the “worst movie of all time.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Best. Christmas. Ever! could possibly be the worst Christmas movie ever

‘Best. Christmas. Ever! on Netflix is the worst. Movie. Ever,” said a second. ‘Avoid, or better yet, gouge your eyes out. That’s much more fun than giving yourself this waste of 1.5 hours.’

Another chimed in: “Netflix’s best Christmas ever is the worst movie I’ve ever seen.. you guys should be ashamed of yourself for airing this.”

‘Best Christmas ever’ on @netflix may be the absolute worst Christmas movie I’ve ever experienced,” said one user.
