“Where’s Willie?” Beer brand JUBEL is giving away £5,000 to the first person to find their character in a Tesco store – but you’ll have to be quick!

To celebrate beer brand JUBEL entering 500 Tesco stores across the UK, their marketing department is offering customers £5,000 if they can find their, ahem, Willy.

Inspired by the classic book series ‘Where’s Wally?’, JUBEL’s assistant brand manager Will goes into hiding in Tesco Extra stores across the UK dressed as the famous character.

Launched on them Instagram page, Where’s Willy travels all over the UK so there are plenty of opportunities to find him, but you’ll need to be quick!

Will will only be in each store for a limited time, so it will be a race against time to find him first.

The game only ends when one lucky person finds Will, tells him the password and claims the cash prize of £5,000.

Jesse Wilson, founder of JUBEL said: ‘Tesco is the biggest store listing we’ve had since we launched in 2018, so we needed a suitably large campaign.’

And this isn’t the first time Will has brought one along for the team to promote the brand.

In March, he hitchhiked all the way to Sicily from London on a £100 budget to film a video for the brand’s new beer cut with blood orange.

Jesse continued, “We’re all about ‘serious good beer for non-serious people.’ The only serious thing about this campaign is the £5,000 cash prize, which we’ll be giving away to the winner.”

Those interested in getting their hands on the cash prize can get updates from Will and clues to his location via JUBEL’s Instagram Stories.

To get the password, you need to be with the right Tesco Extra before sending a direct message to JUBEL beer.

Since the contest launched, JUBEL fans have flooded the video with comments.

One person wrote, “You’re getting better and better.”

While a third follower wrote, “This is fucking brilliant!”

Last week, FEMAIL revealed that Wetherspoon pubs across the UK would be handing out ‘golden straws’ worth £5,000.

The promotion is in partnership with Au Vodka, giving bettors three chances to win one of the fantastic prizes.

And all you have to do is buy an Au Vodka Candy Rosá jug, well, almost.

DJ and co-owner Charlie Sloth shared a video on Au Vodka’s Instagram page, telling followers: ‘For a chance to win £5,000 this summer, simply go to a Wetherspoons pub and buy Au Vodka Candy Rosá.

“If you find the golden straw, you’ll win £5,000 and I’ll deliver it to you personally.”

The contest runs until September 30, 2023.
