Bizarre £400 million ultra-lux superyacht shaped like a giant SWAN, complete with retractable head and ‘beak’ viewing platform
A BIZAR design for a £400 million superyacht in the shape of a giant swan includes a retractable “head” and a “beak” with viewing platform.
The 449ft marine titan, also called the “Avanguardia”, is set to revolutionize the luxury ship market.
Prepared by Italian designer Lazzarini, de superyacht will be in the shape of a swan.
The control tower is placed in the “head”, which is removable from the “neck”.
Once detached, it can be transformed into an additional 50-foot boat once lowered to the water’s edge.
This turns the upper part of the superyacht into an additional control tower.
At the rear of the ship, a personal port for two jet pods can be attached to the structure and act as an additional source of propulsion.
Immediately below you will find two helicopters in their separate hangars, while directly above them you will find the helicopter landing pads.
There are also garages downstairs to store cars on board.
With five decks on the boat, there is room for up to 60 passengers, with accommodation for 24 guests, 12 staff and ten crew.
On either side of the superyacht are two fully electric engines, while a central MTU Rolls Royce The engine allows the yacht to reach a maximum cruising speed of 18 knots (20.7 mph).
But as you can imagine, this project won’t be cheap.
Although it remains just a concept, Lazzarini claims that a customer is willing to invest $500 million (about £394 million) in building the bird-like ship.
But once built, it would literally blow everything else out of the water.
A luxury 90ft electric superyacht called the “the most environmentally friendly in the world” has been revealed.
The Sialia 80 Explorer is also tipped to blow other boats out of the water with its ability to circumnavigate the world in complete silence, powered by state-of-the-art electric propellers.
And a new 230-foot superyacht will be built which focuses on offering guests an elegant five-star wellness experience at sea.
Dubbed a ‘floating spa’, the luxury boat comes with a beautiful infinity pool, a state-of-the-art gym, a massage room, a plunge pool and six luxury suites for living.
