Bombshell photos prove Married At First Sight’s Jack Dunkley has mended friendship with Tristan Black – as supervillain finally reveals truth behind ‘whale’ comment
Bombshell photos have emerged showing Married At First Sight grooms Jack Dunkley and Tristan Black together, dispelling rumors of animosity.
Daily Mail Australia spotted the pair greeting each other across the street from the Skye Suites Green Square, where the couples are housed during filming.
Gold Coast personal trainer Dunkley, 38, looked cheerful as he greeted Tristan, 30, on October 1, just days after his apology at the dinner party.
Jack became the center of controversy after referring to his co-star as a “whale” during Tuesday’s episode.
However, Dunkley has clarified that the joking comment was directed at two women in the experiment, and not at fellow groom Tristan as previously believed.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Dunkley explained: ‘I walked into the pool, did a little dance and joked to Lauren and said, ‘The whales are here.’ It was just self-deprecating, Lauren laughed, and then I went further into the pool.’
The misunderstanding got out of hand when Timothy brought up the comment during a group drink.
Dunkley believes this was a deliberate distortion of his words, saying, “At this point in the experiment I knew who was plotting together… if I looked over, buddy, they were going to create a storyline out of that.”

Tristan couldn’t wipe the excitement from his face and immediately reached out to shake Jack’s hand
Jack, who opted to go shirtless for the occasion, was also seen smiling as he waved to Tristan
Tristan seemed to be in a much better mood after meeting Jack
Dunkley also revealed his ongoing friendship with Tristan, saying: “Me and Tristan had a fantastic relationship during filming. I accompanied him throughout the show.”
Despite the initial hurt, Tristan forgave Dunkley after several apologies, made both off and on camera.
Dunkley even went so far as to gift Tristan a gift card to a supplement store, strengthening their bond.

The apology gesture was made in Timothy’s presence, despite the strained relationship between Dunkley and Timothy.
Dunkley reached out to Timothy as a sign of goodwill and acknowledged his significant emotional support for Tristan: “I put my ego aside, reached out to Timothy and said, ‘Hey, I want to do this with Tristan tonight over dinner.’ ‘
