According to the Met Office, the white stuff could hit the skies early on Wednesday morning Scottish highlands near Fort William.

Forecasters say snow could fall around 3:15 a.m. on March 20.

According to the weather forecasts, this could take until 4:15 am.

Today’s forecast sees a band of cloud and showers moving eastwards across Scotland, England and Wales.

Otherwise, conditions will remain largely dry with sunny spells and become very mild, especially in the south.

But wet and windy weather will arrive in the far west later, said the With office.

“We had mild weather this past weekend, and that mild theme will continue as we move into the new working week,” Met Office meteorologist Craig Snell said.

“We will start the day with some sunshine in parts of East Anglia, the Midlands, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.”

“But the cloud further west will spread a bit further east,” Snell said.

“As the day progresses, the rain becomes weaker and weaker.”

Temperatures will remain mild across most of the country, with temperatures expected to reach 16 to 17 degrees Celsius in the south.

However, the forecast calls for some patchy areas of cloud and showers to move across Scotland, England and Wales.

But it’s not all bad news for the British, because decent weather is on the cards for many.

This rain band will weaken during the day, creating a brighter and sunny period in the afternoon.

Later, wet and windy weather will arrive from the west with some rain during the night.

This band of rain will bring heavier showers to Northern Ireland, Scotland and later Wales, before clearing on Tuesday morning.

However, scattered showers will continue throughout the week.

More rain will come from the west and temperatures will be “variable”.
