The impending flood has been activated two yellow warnings for rain in the south-east and south-west of England this weekend.
South London, Knows, Dover and Hastings are under one of the warnings, from 3pm on Sunday until 9am on Monday.
Exeter, Devon and Plymouth have also been issued a warning from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Environment Agency had issued 62 flood warnings and 168 flood alerts in England by Saturday evening.
The Met Office’s Greg Dewhurst warned of an “uncertain” day as an area of low pressure moves across southern Britain on Sunday and Monday.
He added: “It will bring heavy rain and also strong winds.
“This rain falls on saturated ground and can lead to local flooding problems.
“Be careful if you’re traveling through southern provinces all day on Sunday.”
Temperatures on Sunday will be around 7C-9C and there should be generally light winds, but it will feel chillier.
