TIDY: Start the cleaning process with a blank canvas by emptying the car, including removing trash and all mats.

Those who own a leaf blower should use it to remove loose debris.

Then vacuum the entire interior including compartments, luggage compartment and seats.

Pay special attention to areas such as the footwell, where you can get into the crevices as more dirt collects there.

SITS BEAUTIFULLY: For fabric seats, you can spray on a carpet or upholstery cleaner to tackle stains. Let it sit depending on the instructions, then rinse it with a cloth and pat it dry.

Leather seats can be cleaned with a mild soap or leather cleaner, soaked with a microfiber cloth. Rinse until the cleaner is removed, then polish with another microfiber cloth.

SHINE ON: Use a budget glass cleaner to prevent streaks and a microfiber cloth to clean the inside and outside of the windows and windshield.

Then polish with another microfiber cloth soaked in water.

Use a microfiber cloth on surfaces such as the dashboard and center console for a glossy finish.

WASH-N-GO: Mix warm water with car shampoo and work from top to bottom with a sponge. Paying attention to areas such as the hinges and license plates, rub the shampoo foam with a soft brush before rinsing.

For wheels, use dish soap, hot water and a soft sponge, then go in with a wheel brush in circular motions to tackle stubborn dirt and hard-to-reach areas in the alloys.

EAT IT IN: Once the car has dried completely, apply wax to the car's paint in small sections and thin layers, working in circular motions.

Wait 20 minutes before wiping it dry with a microfiber cloth. The wax should have purified the coat and lightened the color and shine of the car.
