Burger King is dropping the price of its Chicken Royale – but for one day only.

The fast food chain is selling their best-selling chicken burger for just £1 in restaurants across the country on Wednesday.

The burger will be available in the app from tomorrow, but fans will have to be quick to make the £3.99 saving.

The meal is made with 100 percent chicken breast wrapped in a special crispy coating, topped with iceberg lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, and topped with a toasted sesame seed bun.

Those who don’t eat meat can also enjoy the Vegan Royale with a crispy vegan patty from the Vegetarian Butcher, complete with iceberg lettuce and vegan mayo, served in the signature sesame seed bun.

And those more into a feast can order direct from their front door and get a free Chicken Royale on orders over £20 on Uber Eats.

There will also be other offers on the app in the coming weeks, such as a large Chicken Royale meal for just £5.99 – a tasty saving of £3.50 – any day of the week.

It comes after Burger King launched the XL BBQ Double Stacker, a robust sandwich consisting of ‘two succulent flame-grilled 100% British and Irish beef burgers’.

The XL BBQ Double Stacker will be available exclusively on Uber Eats from May 16-29, before also launching on Deliveroo, Just Eat and the Burger King app from May 30-June 26.
