Caitlyn Jenner has criticized the ‘radical rainbow mafia’ and claimed ‘crazy people’ have ‘taken over’ the LGBT community.

In an interview with British comedy legend John Cleese for GB Newstransgender Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner, 74, said: ‘I mean, take transgender people, I think they’ve taken the woke ideology and are just making the most of it and worse.’

Jenner, who was known as Bruce Jenner until her transition in 2015, has previously spoken out about people she calls the “radical rainbow mafia.”

She now claimed that the LGBT community, and especially the trans community, had been “taken over… by a small group of very woke, crazy people.”

“They’re not good for trans people in general because they’re so outspoken and they say ‘trans women are real women’ and they yell at people, and that doesn’t get you anywhere,” she explained. .

The TV personality, who starred in Keeping up with the Kardashians with ex-wife Kris Jenner and their children, also said social media gave this small group of woke people a “big, loud microphone” to express their controversial opinions, what she thinks they do to become famous.

She added: ‘I think this really hurts most trans people. All they want is to just live their lives.”

Jenner added that she does not want the government to pay for gender reassignment surgery or become involved in any way.

She said whether someone wants to change gender is a decision between themselves, their parents and a medical professional. If the government wanted to influence this decision, it would be ‘the breakdown of the family’.

She also shared her thoughts on trans women competing in women’s sports, saying it made trans people look “selfish” and “indulgent.”

She said that for trans women competing in women’s sports, it’s all about them and not the women they hit, positioning themselves as victims of the situation.

She previously spoke out on the issue, announcing her support for swimming governing body FINA’s ban on transgender female athletes who have gone through male puberty from competing in swimming races against women.

Jenner said that at the time it is not ‘fair’ for transgender female athletes to compete against biological women.

World Athletics and FIFA were among a number of governing bodies to revise their guidelines on the involvement of transgender athletes following the FINA ruling, which is the strictest of all Olympic sports bodies.

In June last year, the former athlete wrote: ‘It worked! I’ve had a lot of trouble with it – but what’s fair is fair! When you go through male puberty you shouldn’t be able to take medals away from women. Period of time.’

And speaking about transgender UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas in March 2022, she told DailyMail.com, “I respect her right to transition and I hope she has a wonderful, wonderful life. But she grew up as a biological boy and I don’t think it’s fair that she participates in women’s sports.’

Jenner famously won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics as Bruce. She also won gold in the same competition at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.

In 2015, Jenner, who says she is a conservative-leaning libertarian, publicly came out as a trans woman in a Vanity Fair article titled, “Call me Caitlyn.”
