Patna: In a major step for student welfare, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has canceled the registration of 26 schools in Bihar for not meeting required infrastructure standards in their school premises. The CBSE supervisory body had been keeping an eye on these schools for the past few years and had been urging them from time to time to improve their facilities, but they did not bother to take any steps and that has now resulted in the cancellation of the registration of these schools, according to a report by news agency IANS.

Reason behind the cancellation of CBSE registration

It is reported that the schools charged higher fees in terms of annual fees, monthly fees and admission fees but failed to provide adequate facilities in the schools. Ultimately, the board decided to cancel the registration.
