A CHARCUTERIE expert has told how she built cheese boards on a budget with Target Buys.
People said her latest food creation, which cost her less than $30, looked fantastic.
Laurens (@loverboards) shared the trick to saving money on cheese boards with her TikTok followers in a video.
“Cheese boards don't have to be expensive and I'm going to show you how to make one at Target for under $30,” she said.
She answered the phone in the store Good and Gather's double cream brie$4.79, some extra sharp cheddar cheese, Good and Gather's Charcuterie Trio$6.49, and some goat cheese.
For fruit and sides, she grabbed some grapes, crackers and garlic-stuffed olives.
At checkout, the grand total for all her items was only $29.29.
At home, Lauren unwrapped her brie and cut the round cheese into triangular eighths.
With the cheddar, she broke them into small pieces with her hands and laid the goat cheese flat.
She then wrapped the charcuterie trio pieces in flower bunches around the cheese.
After adding the crackers, grapes and olives, her cheese board was complete.
People praised Lauren for her creative and budget-friendly boards.
“My favorite series, this one SLAYED,” said one commenter.
“So beautiful,” said another fan.
Many were shocked that she could create boards that would otherwise have been filled by the hundreds.
“I'm seriously impressed with the price,” said one commenter.
“In Canada it cost us $30 with the two cheeses,” said another.
